So I've been considering moving WBF to Jcink for awhile now, but I don't want to lose any of you guys, and so I want your opinions on the matter.
For those that are unfamiliar with it, Jcink is very similar to proboards, but has some fantastic features that proboards does not - including an account switcher which is not only built in, but is a dropdown menu instead of requiring your password every time. And you don't have to change accounts to post with another account - it has this handy-dandy feature which allows you to post with another of your connected accounts, or change the account attached to an already posted post. I absolutely love jcink, but I love you guys more, and your opinions are very important in this matter.
If we were to move to jcink, we'd be getting a brand new and premade skin. At the moment, I'm really favouring THIS premade skin because I think the colour scheme would fit a Total Drama site. Maybe it's just the green/orange colour scheme makes me think of the Gophers/Bass team colours, but whatevs. Haven't decided anything for definite quite yet.
I also think it would be beneficial for us to start allowing members to use any and all character images (providing that they're appropriate) as faceclaims for their characters. So we would now be able to use real celebrities or other cartoon characters to portray their characters, or use hand-drawn images. I've come to the realization that the requirement that "all character images have to be in TDI style" is very limiting and is most likely turns people away if they don't have an image of their character or the means to make one on their own. We'll probably implement this new rule regardless of whether or not we decide to migrate to jcink.
I'm also looking for more suggestions on how we can improve the board. If anyone has any ideas or tips or anything, please let me know - if you've noticed it, other people probably have too and something I haven't noticed might be turning loads of potential members away from our site.

I've been a part of a Jcink board for awhile now, and it's not hard to navigate, provided that the coding is easy to navigate with. If you decide to move, I'm there! If you want to stay instead, still here XD |

Does anyone have any suggestions for how we should organize the new forum? Do we still want a board just for confessionals, or since nobody's ever used the one we've got here, should we scrap it and just have confessions as a kind of spoiler alert function in the BBC coding?
Also, since we'll have all new locations that will enable characters to meet and interact outside of the game, like a mall and stuff, how would you like me to organize them? Camp Wawanakwa and Outside Areas as different categories with specific boards locations, or should we shrink it down to a single roleplaying category with Playa Des Losers, Camp Wawanakwa, the Film Lot, the Jumbo Jet, and the Non-Game areas as boards, and the specific areas, like the dock, the cabins and such, can all be sub-boards in their specific area?

I'd personally say keep it as close to this site as possible, to keep confusion as low as possible. That includes the confessional being a regular board, since it's more than just the campers giving their thoughts. Plotting and eavesdropping goes on there too, you know! XD Besides, there are other boards we haven't used as well, not just that one. |

In less than a week, the site is going to get an automatic upgrade to proboards v5 which is really terrible, or I would just revive this version of the site.
So the jcink never really got off the ground and although I would eventually like to revive it, I do not currently have the time to do that. However, I do play on another site that allows canons from all animated fandoms and currently only Duncan has been claimed from the Total Drama series. The only thing is, it is a canon only site, so nobody would be able to bring along their OCs.
