As Bridgette ran alongside Izzy, she noticed they were getting further away from camp and started approaching the shoreline. She had faintly heard the growl, but surely the bear couldn't be all the way out here could it? There was a small amount of trees and shelter was sparse, so maybe the wind carried the sound to this location. Trying to remain vigilant, Bridgette kept an eye for any suddent movements in case the bear was hiding. If it was out here, the girls would have to keep it from returning to it's cave. As harsh as it sounded, they needed to win this challenge. They were the stronger team after all, and Bridgette did not want to go home on the first elimination. In fact, she was starting to feel like none of the Screaming Gophers deserved to go home. Sure, Elizabeth was a bit stuck-up and Noah wasn't very helpful in challenges, but they all had an important role to play in the team.
As they approached the shore, Bridgette came to a halt and looked at Izzy. She had to catch her breath before she could actually speak. "Do you really think the bear could be way out here, Izzy?", Bridgette asked, still a little breathless from the run they had just endured. If the bear came from out of nowhere and attacked, she wasn't sure she had the stamina nor the tolerance to run away. She looked in the distance and saw smaller island surrounding the main island and tilted her head slightly. She didn't realize there were other islands. Perhaps the growl they heard came from one of these smaller islands? She had no clue and looked to Izzy to see if she had any idea on where to start. "Any idea on how to track the bear down?", she asked as she nonchalantly tried to look for some sort of bear tracks in the sand, or any hint of an animal being nearby in the last ten or so minutes. She really had no clue on what she was doing.
