Team Spirit

[Dawn]

"So this is my team", Dawn said kindly as she gazed onto her team, "So, I'm Dawn. I must say, all of you have quite interesting Auras.", she then turned to Noah of all people, "Such as yours. Your Aura seems to be mostly orange with a bit of yellow, meaning you are actually quite Intelligent and Detail Oriented".


(OOC: I looked up Aura meanings, and Orange-Yellow means: Creative, intelligent, detail oriented, perfectionist, scientific. XD)

[Bridgette]

Bridgette forced a smile when Cody replied, his eagerness taking her by surprise. He seemed to be a little too forward, but Bridgette shook the thoughts out of her head. She just wasn't used to it. Surfers were usually quite calm and collected, and she had a lot of friends like that. But she was here to make new friends, and she actually liked the fact that they were different. It gave her a different perspective, and she could actually discuss things outside of surfing and animals. But she was going to make sure that those topics would be covered.

"Cody's fine with me", she replied as she slowly relaxed and gave a much more natural and genuine smile. She had hoped that this wasn't flirting, because he was doing a pretty bad job. It was probably just his nature to act like this. At least he wasn't one of those creeps like she initially thought. "Oh! My name's Bridgette", she said as she smiled and shuffled closer to him. She thought they could be good friends, so should get to know him. "So, what are you into, Cody? Hobbies? Interests?", she asked calmly hoping that he'd catch on that she was making friendly conversation.

She looked up at Dawn, who commented on their aura's. Bridgette that was quite strange and smiled regardless. "Hi Dawn. I'm Bridgette", she said then looked over to Noah who seemed to have grasped Dawn's attention the most. She giggled lightly then returned her gaze to Cody, awaiting his answer.

[Cody]

"Me?", Cody said in a somewhat cocky tone of voice, "Oh, well I'm into the ladies like yourself obviously! Like, totally! No matter what anybody says! But I'm also into some good old video games and what not, ya know. But totally mostly the chicks!", Cody then finished, "Or, if you would prefer the term women...heheh.", Cody then gave off a somewhat nervous look on his face, rubbing his arm, "What you into?"

[Bridgette]

Bridgette widened her eyes a little at Cody's response. He was very quick to respond that he was into the 'ladies'. She knew he wasn't being misodginistic, so maybe he was appreciative of women. Either way, she was flattered that he said that. "Uhh, thanks. I think", she said giving him a sheepish grin. She smiled when he mentioned that he liked video games. She wasn't an avid gamer, but she liked playing with some of her friends. "Oh, awesome! Video games are super cool", she said as she relaxed once again into the conversation.

"Well, I'm really into surfing. I've won a few competitions at home. And animals. I love all animals", she said as her eyes sparkled at the mention of her interests. It felt good to share that part of her with someone. Her and Cody were going to get on really good, she thought. And a possible ally for voting didn't hurt either. "So, what do you think of the others?", she said in a whispered voice, not wanting the others to hear.

[Cody]

"That's cool!", Cody responded to Bridgette being interested in surfing. It was clear he was nervous about flirting with her, which he was trying to do, but it was also clear that there was something more to his doing so. In the end, however, he simply wanted to talk with her regardless, however. In response to her question on what he thought of the others, he calmly spoke, "They seem like okay people to me. I don't judge people till I know 'em better, ya know?"

[Bridgette]

Bridgette smiled at Cody's response and nodded lightly. He really did seem genuine and his response reinfornced that hunch Bridgette had earlier. She didn't judge people either, but there was always first impressions. "Totally. But there are few people that scare me", she said still keeping her voice as quiet as she possibly could without having Cody having to decipher what she was saying.

"Like those two", she said as she gestured her head towards Flare, then towards Dawn. She didn't dislike them, but she was definitely apprehensive towards them two. Flare was quite hostile towards her team and Dawn was a little strange. She planned on trying to get to know them, especially if she wanted to change her impression of them.

[Cody]

"Yeah", Cody responded, "I guess they do seem a little odd, but again, I'm not gonna judge them until I know 'em better. Anyway, I'm glad we're on the same team! Cuz, you seem like a good person, I hope you don't mind me saying that. So....yeah. Heheh...I don't know what else we have to talk about.

[Bridgette]

Bridgette giggled and shook her head lightly. Cody was funny, in an endearing sort of way. "That's really nice of you to say, Cody", Bridgette said sincerely as she smiled gently. She was starting to realize just how sweet he was and was glad they were becoming friends so fast. She looked around and noticed everyone else in their own little conversations then returned her attention to Cody, thinking about his reply.

"You're pretty cool yourself. And you're right. Let's get to know them before judging", Bridgette said as she gave him another smile. He always gave her a reason to smile, and when he said there was nothing more to talk about, Bridgette tilted her head and thought about a new topic.

"Well, let's start with why we're here. Why'd you apply?", she asked as she pondered the question she had just asked. She didn't even think she was going to make it in, so she didn't have a main intention on what she wanted to join the show for. She looked back at Cody and patiently waited for his response.

[Cody]

"Oh me?", Cody replied, laughing a bit, "I replied so I could meet some cool g-ladies! Yeah, I just wanted to meet someone I hope I can be with! That's it! heheh....hopefully....heheh. The money doesn't matter to me, to be honest. Nor the fame. I just wanna meet someone! How about you?"

[Bridgette]

Bridgette was a little surprised at Cody's answer and was a little apprehensive to reply. Was he flirting with her? She could never tell with him, so she shrugged it off as him just being honest and letting her know that he's available. She wasn't really interested in a relationship with him - or anyone for that matter. Her acute smile may have given away that feeling.

"Honestly? I didn't even think I'd get chosen", she said as she recollected her knowledge on the few reality shows she watched on TV. "My friends got me to do an audition and sent it in. I was surprised when they called and said I was going to be on the show", she said genuinely with a smile on her face. It was all true. She couldn't fathom being on a reality show, but she thought she'd do it anyone. It wasn't too bad so far.

[Cody]

Cody's expression and ways were clearly nervous, and he knew he could not hide that. However, he just hoped he wasn't coming off as too obvious, but then again, that made him more nervous. He was trying to hide something, but it was something only he wanted to know.

"Same here! Heheh", Cody remarked, remembering the day he auditioned, "To be honest, I'm surprised they didn't pick my cousin. She's actually an Actress and what not haha...but they picked me instead! Then again, she is in her twenties, so that's probably why, haha. Anyway, anything else you wanna talk about?"

[Bridgette]

Bridgette didn't even consider having her friends audition. Then again, she didn't plan her audition so she shouldn't really feel bad about it. She nodded as Cody spoke and thought about that supposed famous person. What was her name? Bridgette had seen anything she was on, but they way she acted, she didn't feel the least bit guilty about it. It started with a 'D'. Dawn? No, that's the strange girl.

"Dakota!", she blurted out in an exclaimed manner. She covered her mouth right away to show it was a mistake then peered over to see if Dakota heard. She nervously returned her attention to Cody while lowering her arms to her side. "Sorry. I mean, Dakota is supposedly famous. Maybe they only had room for one? I mean, I don't see any other surfers here", she said as she looked at the group of teenagers.

She shrugged lightly and tried to think. They had already become friends and knew quite a bit about each other, so that was good. "I can't think of anything. What about you?", she asked Cody as she looked around to see that none of the group was really that chatty. What was Chris thinking picking such a boring bunch?

[Cody]

"Yeah, maybe that's right!", Cody remarked, chuckling a bit, "But I would keep opinions like that down, heheh, mainly cuz people like her tend to be not so nice when people talk about 'em, haha. Unless it's a compliment of course, then they'll like ya. And no, I can't really think of anything, really."

[Bridgette]

Bridgette grimaced slightly when Cody warned her about her comment. "Oh! I didn't mean it like that!", she said slightly embarassed that it could've sounded that way. She looked in Dakota's direction to see if she had taken it the wrong way, but she seemed to have heard nothing at all. Bridgette released a soft sigh of relief as she returned her attention to Cody, who seemed to be getting bored with the whole situation.

"You wanna go get some lunch?", she said trying to make it as informal as possible so he would understand that their friendship would remain completely platonic. She really didn't have the time or patience for a relationship right now. She looked toward the dining cabin and saw Chef Hatchet inside then starting to think it wasn't such a good idea.

[Cody]

"Sure!", Cody said in response, his eyes suddenly going somewhat flirtatious as if make it seem like he thought this was a date. "I'd love to, actually. I've worked up quite the hunger!"
