Roughly 200 years after the apocalyptic war, the world has become an interesting place.
The Five Families, becoming smaller with every passing generation, keep a tentative rule – having enslaved some of the preternatural to act as guards against human and other alike have also hired on those who became Hunters as their own Secret Service/Police Force.
The population has grown and now consists of mostly half-breeds – children of the first humans who loved and mated with the other. Tensions however are on the rise, between enslavement and differed opinions, never mind political jockeying; people are taking sides and the thought has crossed many minds that the world is looking at the making of another war.
And this one might not have any survivors.
